Built in 1834 this unique and elegant hotel is located in the heart of Hobart's CBD (Central Business District). Hadley's Orient Hotel is just 5 minutes' walk from Constitution Dock and the Salamanca Markets. The heritage-listed Hadley's Orient Hotel is the oldest continuously operating boutique hotel in Tasmania. It features an atrium-style restaurant and bar and caters to different types of events such as conferences and banquets. The classic guestrooms have been fully restored and offer a TV tea/coffee making facilities and an private bathroom with bathtub. Elizabeth St Mall Royal Hobart Hospital and Hobart Museum are all within 1312 feet of the hotel. Hadley's Hotel is 20 minutes' drive from Hobart Airport. The Hadley's Art Prize is held annually in the custom-designed galleries at Hadley's Orient Hotel.

Liked: A beautiful heritage hotel . All the staff , whether at reception, breakfast or household are so helpful and friendly. Very comfortable beds . Breakfast is plentiful. Parking is off site but only about a five minute walk away.. Harbour , restaurants museums market are all close by
Disliked: On our first night our room (404) was beside a noisy outside air vent . When this was brought to the hotel’s attention the receptionist immediately arranged for us to have a different room

Our stay in Hadley's Orient...

Liked: The concierges were so war, welcoming and helpful, particularly as we arrived late, tired from our journey from interstate. The lovely accommodation was a wonderful beginning to our stay in Tasmania, setting the tone. There were thoughtful touches and I personally enjoyed the 'olde feel' which was opulent and cosy.
Disliked: There was nothing I/we disliked.
