Built in 1834 this unique and elegant hotel is located in the heart of Hobart's CBD (Central Business District). Hadley's Orient Hotel is just 5 minutes' walk from Constitution Dock and the Salamanca Markets. The heritage-listed Hadley's Orient Hotel is the oldest continuously operating boutique hotel in Tasmania. It features an atrium-style restaurant and bar and caters to different types of events such as conferences and banquets. The classic guestrooms have been fully restored and offer a TV tea/coffee making facilities and an private bathroom with bathtub. Elizabeth St Mall Royal Hobart Hospital and Hobart Museum are all within 1312 feet of the hotel. Hadley's Hotel is 20 minutes' drive from Hobart Airport. The Hadley's Art Prize is held annually in the custom-designed galleries at Hadley's Orient Hotel.

Very good

Disliked: I had to pay a extral $1 when I have arrrive to the Hotel, they said I will give it back when I left. However, I haven't got it back.

Superb

Liked: Excellent and accomodating staff. Nice and spacious room for the 4 of us. Free washing machine and dryer to use which was convenient (only one though so had to wait a bit). Nice buffet breakfast in the morning.
Disliked: Could do with a second washing machine and dryer. No space left in car park but was free parking a couple of blocks away on the street.

Disliked: Wasn’t easy to find the hotel parking lot. The address that was provided wasn’t correct. The hotel is quite old but was ok
