Basic, small and very cluttered...

Liked: Breakfast was included and pretty nice, with possibility of getting fresh eggs as well (no omelette) and nice selection of bread/pastries. Parking spot was close and easy.
Disliked: The room we were assigned to was fairly small and cluttered with lots of furniture and ornaments that made it feel even smaller. The bathroom was extra small and a bit run down. Photos on booking.com were honestly a bit deceiving. Based on those, and on the rather high price we paid, we were expecting something a bit more curated/elevated.

Tons of charm

Liked: The room had a lot of charm (exposed beams, nice floor, beautiful fireplace), the bed was very comfy, the lounge room was superb, the breakfast was exceptional with great staff, next to a The Love Apple, a fine dining experience.
Disliked: The hot tub area was a little disappointing, all the rest was exceptional.

Great value, relaxed vibe and...

Liked: The non chain hotel vibe was very nice. The gal that was in the kitchen area when I arrived was super helpful. The hot tub was a nice little treat.

Love this place!

Liked: Lovely historic buildings and rooms. Comfortable and nicely decorated. Breakfast is great. Manager was friendly and helpful.
Disliked: They used to have fresh squeezed OJ... hopefully they fix their machine! The breakfast attendant/cook was not as friendly as some when we stayed previously.

Disliked: Housekeeping, the windows and screens haven’t seen a dust cloth in forever. Extremely tight quarters.Excessive use of extension cords was concerning and the lack of light was evident!
