Great stay and great breakfast

Liked: Great location close to the centre but far enough to be away from the noise, also a good location to go out for drives
Disliked: This has no reflection on the room, but the pillows were way too soft for me, the next morning I asked for another pillow so 3 in total which they supplied without question

Liked: Very comfortable house hotel with lovely hosts and nice breakfast service. Nice and free car parking area, very convenient for self-driving stay.

Exceptional

Liked: The building is beautiful, and our room (twin) was an excellent size. The shower room was something I would like to have in my home. The location is just far enough away from the town centre, which made it exceptionally quiet. Very little seagull noise.We dined in the restaurant on the first evening and the food was very good and the service speedy polite and friendly. There is a good choice of breakfast foods and we enjoyed our breakfasts a great deal.All the staff were friendly and helpful and could not fault the service in any way.
Disliked: Having to take our luggage up 2 floors. Happily, a member of staff willingly helped. Very pleasant young man who was also working the bar. I failed to inform the hotel that I have COPD and the room.was on the second floor, which was challenging. A lift would have been really useful.The most important thing for me was that the bed was not comfortable, so I didn't sleep well. I could feel springs. It was very hard. I did mention but didn't stress the point) on check out because overall, my granddaughter and I had a thoroughly enjoyable short stay.

Liked: Check in was very easy and efficient. Evening meal and breakfast was good. Ample parking. Great location. Room was very comfortable, spacious and tastefully decorated. Overall a very pleasant stay.
Disliked: Couldn’t find fault with anything. All our needs were met and staff were very helpful.

Liked: Good parking, central. Good size room and bathroom. Good teatray. And it was very quiet. Nice looking room.
Disliked: You got to like a hard bed. And soft pillows. Room was warm. Turned radiator off. But the floor was warm. Which would be great if its a cold day. Breakfast was ok. Coffee really bad very small cups for the sachets that you get.Perfectly good looking coffee machine behind the bar wasn't offended any other coffee. Shouldn't have to ask these days either.Nothing wrong just not great. Eye contact when saying goodbye helps. And not being in your phone.

Nice room but very average...

Liked: Bedroom comfortable good shower
Disliked: Breakfast included but didn’t start until 8 am so I missed it When I had breakfast day 2 there was a self serve tea , dirty cups and very messy would rather have a pot of fresh tea served
