Liked: The room was comfy but a bit dated.
Disliked: Noise outside on the balcony people stood talking outside the window.

Liked: Quirky and easy to get to.
Disliked: Not much. It is what it is. A bit dated but it all adds to its charm. I would stay again

Convenient stopover in an interesting...

Liked: We selected it for its location mid way on return from Scotland to London. Nice position next to the canal and with good road links (A6 & M6). Nesting swallows, with young were a great bonus. Dining at the Italian eatery was great food and good value.
Disliked: The development was looking a little tired, although they appeared to be redoing some of the thatching which will help. Otherwise, there was nothing that we didn't like.

Disgusting

Liked: No dirty things broken stunk of cigarettes
Disliked: Smelt, uncomfortable & broken stuff

End of week break

Liked: Booked this to combine with the bubble and bounce event for our 3 granddaughters after having few days away in lake district. Reception area and restaurant beautiful ....staff welcoming on check in. Rooms ready x 3 but very dated which took away from reception area impression. Our stay though to be fair was very pleasant and comfortable so didn't impact to much Bathroom exceptionally clean and modern. Just needs some money and time in bedroom areas and this would transform this Hamlet as it is so nice added bonus we got the weather. Nice pub olde worlde type didn't eat as we went into Garstang for a walk round and so ended up eating in town. Nice walk down to Barton Grange by the canal . Would stay again
Disliked: As previous mention very dated bedroom ,room 21 sellotape on desk covering chipped dressing table/ desk. Windows rotten. Difficult opening and closing windows. Small tv ( this was granddaughters Input). . curtains not clean. We stayed a good while ago to go flower bowl and room is still the same. Money investment is needed
