Fantastic find 💎

Liked: Fantastic find! Cool wee village within itself along the banks of the canal. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Loads on offer, pub grub, restaurant, ice cream shop etc.
Disliked: Room was beside bar so a touch noisy but just ask for a room further away (there are plenty).

Disappointing

Liked: Staff very good, went out of there way to help
Disliked: Very dated rooms, bathroom floor dirty, nicotine stains on lights

Disliked: There is a big gap under the front door where you can see daylight, the room is very dated and needed redecorated as the walls were scratched and damaged, the cleaners were very noisy in the next room at 9.30am where check out is 11.00am, when we left there was a cleaning trolly and bags of linen right outside our door and we had to walk round them, the carpark was coned off and being resurfaced, this was very noisy and we received dirty looks from the workmen when we drove to reception (being disabled I needed to get as close as possible), all this was going on well before check out time, all in all for the price, which is over double to some of the cheaper options I just think it was not good enough

Quirky place but overpriced in...

Liked: Clean room, comfortable bed, good location.
Disliked: The place is a bit tired, I get that it's meant to be a bit quirky but really could do with some tlc. The bar/ restaurant is overpriced!

Disliked: Could have done with brighter lighting in the bathroom to put makeup on.

Good canal side accomodation ☺️

Liked: The room was big and had everything we needed. The Italian restaurant on site was very good - we ate there both nights. The pub area is good too and very friendly.
Disliked: Decor a bit tired but not a real problem.
