Second time there and I...

Liked: Location and it’s very relaxed
Disliked: The water pressure makes mundane tasks like showering and cleaning teeth a pain!

Disappointing

Stayed here a few times...

Liked: Lovely location and food was really good
Disliked: Lack of staff, seemed as if one person was doing everything. Waiting in time in bar while trying to find somebody.

Exceptional

Liked: Very helpful receptionist who helped me organising a surprise for my husband's birthday. It was nice to stay in the main house. Lovely dinner and breakfast
Disliked: Nothing really

Lovely grounds and nice old...

Liked: Booked last minute and wasn’t expecting much but lovely grounds and well kept gardens. Good value for money
Disliked: Cost for a baby cot is £25 which is quite expensive. Breakfast was quite average. Staff on front desk were a bit unfriendly

Superb

Liked: Staff were very nice. Very spacious hotel and room. Comfy beds and big TV.
Disliked: Water pressure in the shower was low. WiFi was very weak. Breakfast could have been restocked more frequently.

It suited my needs perfectly....

Liked: Food was very good indeed.
Disliked: The single room was looking in need of some redecoration and there were signs of damp on the floor by the bath, due to a poorly fitting shower screen. The screen door seal was over the outside of the bath when I arrived. Some wallpaper was beginning to peel, as was some paint on the ceiling. I tend to notice as I do my own decorating and all bathroom maintenance and repairs at home!
