Best burger I've ever had.

Liked: The burger for dinner was the best burger I have ever had! Staff were lovely and helpful facilities were great. The grounds are also beautiful.
Disliked: Everything! especially the burger!

Would definitely return and recommend

Rooms are very tired and...

Liked: Communal areas are great and the spa is lovely.
Disliked: The room (apart from the bathroom) was very tired, cracks and stains on the ceiling, also parts of the ceiling being held together with tape. Lack of towels which we had to ask for to be told there was a shortage so we were late for the party as we couldn’t get ready. The room is veryoverpriced for the poor condition it’s in.

Disliked: The manager is very rude and unprofessional and give us the dirty no towel no toiletries and small room that we didn't book...

Liked: The hotel location is lovely and some areas of the hotel are very stylish. Breakfast was OK.
Disliked: The pool met my expectations however the changing area was not clean or looked after.The corridors and some aspects of the hotel are in need of some TLC - needs decoration and new carpets.The staff were not particularly helpful. I arrived at 6.30 pm, and had heavy luggage. My room was up two flights of stairs and there was no one to help me carry my luggage. I asked and the receptionist said they had gone home?At checkout the receptionist suggested I had two breakfasts to pay for when I only stayed for one night?

Disliked: The room was VERY hot. So of course I slept with the window open. And was awoken at 05.45 by two staff members standing right outside my window smoking and talking loudly. Please ask your staff members to smoke and talk well away from the building at that time in the morning.

Liked: One of the best hotels i have ever stayed in the staff the owners everything about the manor is exceptional
Disliked: Nothing

Great value for money -...

Liked: Great position, nice restaurant and bar, beautiful grounds - the restaurant food and staff were exceptional- the have great offers each day as well - the owners are also very nice.
Disliked: Stairs,stairs and stairs! You cannot go to the rooms without climbing stairs and so if you have heavy luggage or injuries/disabilities this is a major challenge. Also they have crazy peacock on site which if he wants to sits outside your window and ‘call’ all night then sleep is a challenge! Happened to me on my first and last night.
