Convenient place to stay

Liked: Good food, both evening meal and breakfast. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room small and bed small and very simple basic furnishings. Lovely grounds.
Disliked: Small room. Too hot. Air conditioning not good.

Stay spoiled by no hot...

Liked: The garden and outside was beautiful. Comfortable lounge downstairs . Food was nice in restaurant.
Disliked: No hot water. Had to leave taps running for half an hour to have lukewarm shower but only cold water in taps to wash hands. No service to room after first night . Two small bottles of shampoo and shower gel for two nights ( not that I got to use them )

Go to Guildford harbour instead...

Liked: Don’t bother pool is cold, rooms are dated staff are a joke
Disliked: Everything, old hotel needs attention in every area Please don’t book a spa break Youll be bored in 5 mins
