Nicely located lodge

Liked: Very nicely located in the center of Cape Cod with a short drive to the atlantic or the ferry to Matha`s Vineyard or even a short walk to West Dennis Beach. Very friendly and helpful personnel. Complimentary coffee and tea.

In general good, but only...

Liked: Bed is comfortable.
Disliked: Bathroom smelled bad when bathroom fan was running.

Location excellent for destination walking.

Liked: upstairs room so view was of trees, not parking. Upgraded so nice space, air worked during heat wave, plenty of towels. Water pressure excellent. Location excellent for walking to Dennis Beach and Bass River. Very glad I had a front room.
Disliked: A bit worn, but the pool looked pristine and painting was underway. Construction next door but that's not hotel's fault.

Small bugs on bedspread. Was...

Liked: Had a roof over my head.
Disliked: Room smelled musty and was damp. needed to use the hairdryer and it was broke.

Complete the upgrades

Liked: Location
Disliked: Bathroom was not up to par. Door was dirty. Would not close properly. Drawers in dresser would not stay closed. Cable was spotty reception. Stayed here before in a back room which appeared to be renovated. That brought me back. This room needed upgrade.

Great self catering room. Will...

Liked: Staff were friendly and very helpful. I needed to extend my stay. Despite booking through a website (to get my members discount) rather than the front desk, they allowed me to stay in the more expensive room I was already in, rather than move.Kitchen was very useful.
Disliked: Could have done with a better selection of pans and crockery in the kitchen, along with fresh washing up liquid and scourer. Both minimal cost, but massive improvement on first impression.
