Good value for money and...

Liked: Very good customer service
Disliked: Little things not working. Eg remote control for TVGuide.co.uk. Better service at breakfast to know what to do. Menu said full English includes toast but didn’t explain need to toast your own. More teaspoon would also help when several people trying to get coffee and tea.

An ecclectic sort of hotel.

Liked: Comfortable bed and a good nights sleep. Very nice home-made cider.
Disliked: Having to use a fob to open the front door. Caravan bolted on to the hotel and outside could do with better attention. Overflowing gutter/drains.Needs professionally decorating and generally having an air of quality. I understand it used to be a hostel (which is fine) but still feels a bit like it.

Liked: We had a lovely stay at the hotel, just on the outskirts of Hastings The staff were amazing, we were offered a hot drink on arrival while booking in and our dog had a biscuit tooIf there’s anything you need please ask the staff they will do everything they can to help you We’d left our dog lead at home and they lent us their lead for 3 days which was very appreciated The beds were comfy and the rooms very clean, there was a little road noise which didn’t bother us, there are ear plugs left next to the bed if you need them We also had tea & coffee making facilities in the room, which was nice before breakfast We had a cooked breakfast every morning which set us up for the whole dayThe hotel has lovely grounds plenty of places to sit outside, this is not a modern hotel but a lovely quirky old building which made us feel so welcome
Disliked: We were in room 10 which is described as a suite but it’s a double room one side of the corridor bathroom in the middle and a single room at the end of the corridor All with individual locks on each door as a fire exit goes through the corridor so on a night time we all had to lock our doors which was ok for us but if you had a young child in the single room it would be a problem

Liked: Lovely unique hotel on the outskirts of Hasting. Quirky, clean and very comfortable room . Staff go above and beyond , breakfast was very good , absolutely no complaints at all and would stay again .

Liked: Usually reviews relate to friendly staff with all facilities being good.The Guestling Hall Hotel, in all it's entirety goes above and beyond. The building itself is welcoming and warm, staff exceptional and very friendly. Nothing is too much trouble, if any bother at all! Room was comfortable space. All in all a really lovely stay.
Disliked: Nothing...except possible road noise
