Liked: Very comfortable beds, excellent location-2 min walk to the bus and train station!

It did the job

Liked: The room is nice and spacious with a modern and clean bathroom. The kitchenette is a great utility to have - a nicely sized fridge, cupboards, a good quality microwave oven and hob top. I do feel like paying extra for pots and pans is understandable in this instance, however i do wish they provided cutlery and mugs for coffee etc. The bed and bedding was very comfortable to stay in and the room was both well heated and ventilated. The staff were really nice, friendly and welcoming. They kept the Cafe/ Reception area so clean and welcoming and it looked like they were providing really great service there. I was definitely return for these reasons- its pretty good value for money all things considered!
Disliked: The room was quite scuffed: marks on the wall from previous occupants. The hotel says its trying to be more environmentally conscious which i think is a great thing- however the hotel provides you with single use paper cups and wooden sticks over cups and spoons. Given that there was a sink, yet there isnt a recycling bin- just general waste- in the room this did feel a bit wasteful over the few days. Our TV didn’t really work during our stay- we contacted the staff regarding this following the first night and they were really nice about it- a worker said they would go to the room and check it out/ replace batteries in the remote. When we returned the TV was on but the remote still didn’t work. Admittedly we didn’t follow up on this, but just for future reference it would be great for things to be in working order for the stay.Finally, the rooms aren’t very noise proof- we were on the 3rd floor and I believe there might’ve been a guest directly above us. Whenever the guest moved you could hear the footsteps etc. now perhaps the guest was just someone who likes to stomp! But it was very loud in our room. Again, we didn’t raise this with any staff, so really we can’t complain about this, it is more just something to note.

Liked: Hotel is situated just 5 min walk from the train station.
Disliked: As we made a late check in it was a bit uncomfortable to wait for a code for self check in. I have got it at 6 pm. It would be better to get it beforehand.

Liked: The staff were extremely helpful as I had to make some last minute changes to my travel dates and they were kind enough to accommodate my request

Was an ok stay, but...

Liked: The location was perfect! Close to the center and the train station.
Disliked: The room photos did not correspond to reality. The room was old and you could see that in the corridors leading to the room too. The heater didn't work very well.

Liked: Everything went well. I paid extra for buffet breakfast and coffee.
