Ideal for what we wanted...

Liked: The location for where we needed to travel to and from was perfect. 4 staff members ( waiting staff and receptionist on friday and Saturday)were very welcoming and helpful but i can only remember 1 name denzel was very accommidating from the moment we arrived into the lounge of the hotel and dinning room in the evening for dinner, he was very patient, polite,friendly and helpful. I wish I could remember the other names of the staff that were ever so welcoming and helpful and went the extra mile to accommodate me and my family who were over for my sister's wedding. The girl on reception on our 2nd and 3rd night was so bubbly and welcoming when we would go for breakfast and when we would pass the hall. The 2 girls that were in the dinning room for breakfast and dinner were ever so helpful and bubbly and understanding and so patient.
Disliked: 1 of the waiting staff was very abrupt about ordering toast and when and it should be done, it was an unnecessary reason to say to us as we were already being looked after by another waiting staff member who asked for our order of breakfast and drinks. (The abrupt waiting staff never brought toast out in the end)I do think that the likes of toast shouldn't be asked separate to the breakfast after. Bread/ toast should be placed on tables 2 slices of each bread and whether they are eaten it should not matter, having it on the table once guest arrives is a good touch. Our bedroom was spacious and big, but very warm and stuffy even with the window open. Radiators were not on either. Maybe something to look into, for comfort and sleep.The mattress on the bed was not very comfortable, consider changing it, very uncomfortable.

Great room, fantastic food, beautiful...

Liked: There are three members of staff that have made my stay very special: the Manager himself - charming, professional and helpful; Dean - who was working behind the bar - great dinner recommendation (great curry!) - Dean is professional but relaxed, friendly and lovely to talk to and Shelley - fantastic manners and approach to the guest. These three individuals and great example of outstanding customer care. I have stayed in this hotel almost for a month and would strongly recommend visiting. Room was great, top quality breakfast and dinner, fantastic location, beautiful grounds and great value.
Disliked: Teach the rest of the staff to be as amazing as the Manager, Dean and Shelley :-) Apart from this keep on updating the property as it does need some extra attention in some areas.
