Liked: Location good for work set in lovely grounds
Disliked: I wasn’t informed that the hotel was having some outside restoration work so was noisy. Also it was a warm evening and I could not open window. Disappointed too on decor it was very tired and needs major overhaul. Shower was very poor and different temperatures of water.Food expensive versus quality and choice

Liked: When I book the room it shows that I will have a mini fridge kettle for tea but it was missing and the TV is very outdated remote was not even responding properly and had a lot off noice from outside from properly working which was carried out that day
Disliked: Room was big but the bed was a bit smaller they need to change the sofa in the room it was smelly

Lovely location value for money

Liked: Location was important as I was meeting up with friends . Staff were friendly and bit of noise as my window was above the men laying a few patio and there was a lot of works happening at the front. I ate in the restaurant they were in the process of moving rooms due to the works but the dining room looked pleasant. Food was value for money steak was a little grissly and on the cold side though. Room was comfortable and clean parking very good
Disliked: Shower was hard to adjust knob very stiff water was very hot. Scaffolding across the window was worried about privacy was too warm to draw curtains but I never saw anyone on the scaffolding outside window. Was disappointed to be honest about the works as I had friends to my room for chat and coffee and the workmen were noisy cutting slabs, and shouting at each other

Good value for money.

Liked: It had character. Wasn’t too fussy, basic but easy. Slept well.
Disliked: Was hard to walk anywhere from there. No paths on the road and impossible to walk down the road to the village you had to double back.
