Liked: Everything. Linda and Jonathon go the extra mile. High quality B&B from a hardworking lovely couple. We’ve never stayed in a B&B that comes anywhere near matching Grove House. Beautiful house and garden in a prime location within 10 minutes of York with a local bus and train route into the city.

Liked: Everything excellent. Good location as we were attending a birthday celebration in an adjacent village. Garden was well kept with outdoor seating for all guests and very relaxing

Fantastic hosts and we will...

Liked: Everything from the moment we arrived to when we left was five star from our hosts including Penny (furry friend). Room immaculate, fantastic breakfast (homemade sausages) not including all the unexpected little extras in the room.

Home away from home. Linda...

Liked: Linda and Jonathan (and Penny the dog!) were the most wonderful hosts, making us feel like we had popped over to see family for the weekend from the moment you stepped into the door. They made you feel at home right away and could not do enough to make our stay as lovely as possible. They were so friendly and down to earth.Breakfast was immaculate and could not fault a thing. All parts were thought about including the homemade bread and jams for the table. The room was beautiful and spacious, with the extra bits of fresh milk for teas and coffees, cold water, beer and wine and homemade shortbread adding the cherry to the cake!The whole house was spotless, could not fault a thing.
Disliked: That we had to leave as soon as we did and that we couldn't take Penny home with us.
