Beautiful location but staff could...

Liked: Beautiful and full of character. Friendly and helpful receptionist.
Disliked: Unavailability of tea and coffee in the rooms. There was an area to help yourself, but nothing was there until 8.00 when breakfast was available anyway. We arrived on Sunday and it was as if the place shut down until 8 on Monday morning. Very dark breakfast room lit by candlelight only. Unfriendly breakfast staff.

Liked: Beautiful place in beautiful location. Beautiful room with working air conditioning.
Disliked: Level of service varying from good to bad. Hotel had a lot of young trainees which were not properly orientated to their jobs. Food at the restaurant was expensive and the quality of it at best only ordinary. The Classic Hamburger was a big disappointment and not even close worth the cost of 27,- euros. Deep cleaning of the nice bathroom could be a good iedea. This is nice but rather expensive place. You should get better with that money.

Disappointed by the Service Experience

Disliked: We were genuinely disappointed with several aspects of our stay. For dinner, we were unexpectedly seated in the pub/bar area instead of the main dining room, even though there was still plenty of space available there. It felt like the staff simply didn’t want to bother with setting or cleaning the dining room anymore. We were told the kitchen closes at 8 PM, which seemed unusually early and gave the impression they were eager to wrap up for the night. As a result, we couldn’t even order dessert — something we’ve never experienced at a hotel before.The sauna, which was advertised as a feature, had to be specially activated, and unfortunately, this wasn’t made clear beforehand. This inconvenience meant we couldn’t enjoy it as expected.Additionally, the service was disappointing. The staff at check-in and in the restaurant came across as cold and unwelcoming, which affected the overall atmosphere. The only exception was the lady at check-out, who showed more warmth and empathy than the rest of the team combined.Unfortunately, the lack of hospitality and poor service overshadowed what could have been a much more pleasant stay.
