Liked: Very convenient for so much of Berlin's main attractions. Excellent room with comfortable bed. Very good shower and small balcony was pleasant on warm evenings. Breakfast was pretty good but lack of variety in warm food.
Disliked: Garage was asset but getting into spaces required the automotive equivalent of a 'bendy bus'!

Liked: I had a wonderful stay at Grimm Hotel Mitte Berlin! The location is very central, which made it easy to explore the city. I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a spacious suite — such a lovely gesture! I was beyond happy and really appreciated the comfort and charm of the room. Highly recommend!

Clean, comfortable, safe and informative...

Liked: A very nice and clean hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly, especially Timo, but all very professional and spoke excellent English. If I required any information on best places to go,,where to eat, a good bar...the advice was there. A nice smoking area to the rear, and tables and chairs out front. Excellent breakfast also. And I believe there's a rooftop terrace, but never checked it out. Ordering a taxi took quite literally 2 minutes wait via a 'button at reception - Magic! Yep....a great stay, would recommend it, and will stay again.
Disliked: All was good. No complaints. The hotel and Berlin in general: Very (Uber) efficient. Danke all.

Disliked: Do yourself a favor and book a different hotel.While I was showering and my partner was still asleep, staff at Grimm’s Hotel Mitte unlocked and entered our room without permission — and let a maintenance worker inside to change the lock, all without informing us beforehand.This happened just before 10 a.m. on the morning we were checking out — even though checkout was at 11. There was absolutely no reason for anyone to enter the room at that time, let alone allow a stranger in while we were still inside and unaware.This was a blatant violation of our privacy, safety, and trust. All our belongings were still in the room. The receptionist later claimed she knocked and said hello — but that is not consent. The room was clearly still occupied.Even worse: when we confronted her, she did not apologize. Not a single word of regret or responsibility. We were left stunned, feeling completely disrespected.This is one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. If you care at all about being treated with basic dignity, respect, and safety, never stay at Grimm’s Hotel Mitte. There are plenty of other hotels in Berlin — choose any of them instead.
