Liked: Location was a little quiet with not much around the area. Breakfast was really nice. Evening meals were very good.The room and the hotel were tastefully furnished.
Disliked: Our bed linen had a couple of stains on them,otherwise we had no complaints.

A lovely overnight family stay.

Liked: Fantastic room. Perfect size for our family of four. Was great that it had a large bathroom with a shower and a bath. The hot water was not particularly hot for the bath but good temperature for the kids. Evening meal and food both lovely

Pleasant stay, great location

Liked: Staff were friendly and welcoming. Service was good, minor issues with only bringing us one menu and forgetting items off the breakfast, but they were sorted promptly. Room was clean, the odd cobweb and small areas of dust over the top of mirrors and door but overall the Inn was clean and tidy. We had dinner and breakfast here, food was really good. The room was small, but had everything we needed for a nights stay, although we didn't have a good sleep due to the mattress being uncomfortable and room too hot. Location is great, easy access to lots of walks and places to visit.
Disliked: We didn't sleep very well, the bed was uncomfortable for us and it was too warm. We had the windows open and a fan but it was far too hot. We were in the top loft room. The bed was uncomfortable, this may be personal preference though as I know others have had a comfy stay there, just wasn't right for us unfortunately. I would say that it is a little overpriced for the facilities, food and stay. The website states 5 star establishment but we felt it was definitely more a 4 star. Struggled to cut our lamb with a normal dinner knife, we were almost finished when somebody came over to ask if everything was ok. Otherwise, we could have asked for a steak knife.
