It was beautiful other than...

Liked: It’s beautiful great for a wedding
Disliked: The shower was not cleaned good and the detachable shower head was dirty.I left my house keys in the room on the floor by accident. Called and let them know, they took my information including home address and said housekeeping would look and they would mail them to me and call me once they were found. No one called I had to call them again, the said that they couldn’t find the keys. They were lying I knew exactly where I left the keys and if you cleaned the room for real you could have seem them too. They transferred me to lost and found where she said no one turned in keys. And hanged the phone up but called back. And said she would look again, no call for the rest of the day. Still to this day no call about my keys

Comfortable

Liked: Good location, spacious, nice swimming pool and elegant restaurant (even if the staff of the latter was not very experienced).
Disliked: Rooms at The Griffin are in a different building to that pictured in the photos, which belong to The Williamsburg Inn, where the main reception and restaurant are. This was not clear upon booking or arrival and it turned out to be a bit of a walk between both!

Liked: The property was beautiful, and we just walked to the historic area. The rooms were really nice and had that colonial feel.

Great location, large room, needs...

Liked: Location great, rooms large.
Disliked: Strong smell of smoke in fireplace in one if our two rooms, thick dust behind bed, behind microwave, furniture worn and dated.

It was wonderful

Liked: Loved everything not enough time to explore it all. We will be back soon.
Disliked: No microwave in the room . Room far from the pools. No complimentary breakfast.
