Liked: The location was quiet and close to Colonial Williamsburg, and the reception staff were pleasant and welcoming. The AC in the room was good. The balcony was well furnished, with a good view of the lake. The swimming pool and fitness centre were clean and tidy, with plenty of towels etc., and helpful and welcoming staff. Plenty of parking close to the room. Easy checkout.
Disliked: Signage for the reception area was poor on-site, and the pre-visit information never explained that check-in was actually at the Williamsburg Inn. We had a very pleasant stay, but felt that there was a lack of detailed information about the site both in the literature we received from Booking.com and in the room. It would have been good to have had some information about local restaurants/coffee houses.

Disliked: Thought my room was looking at the pond instead of next to parking lot. Could have been advised about loud booms that would occur from Camp Perry at night. Furniture so outdated, sofa sagging, uncomfortable pillows, TV is set in wall where not watchable.

Liked: The location, staff, and the access to lawn.
Disliked: I thought the hallway was shabby, the door was cracked, there were cobwebs in the room, and I found some sort of bug in the sheets.
