Relaxing, fabulous location and a...

Liked: Really lovely place. Rooms are clean and have everything you need (and more!) Jon and Emma are lovely hosts and nothing is too much trouble, they make you feel really relaxed. Parking on street was free and easy. Breakfast lovely and a fantastic location. Just a short walk into town and also out to Derwent Water. There are also some really nice parks close by. I had a fabulous trip and would definitely book again if I return to Keswick.
Disliked: Nothing. Really good value and great for me and my little dog

Liked: The property was very close to the center of Keswick. Jon and emma were lovely hosts. Breakfast in the morning was lovely.
Disliked: the bed we slept in was a little small but understandable as the room wasn’t that big for a bigger bed.

Wonderful stay, would definitely come...

Liked: Exceptional breakfast - it might be the best sausage I've ever had! Lovely comfortable and clean room, absolutely spotless. Really lovely hot shower with great water pressure.
Disliked: Room and bathroom was a tiny bit small for a week stay - but it had everything you could ever need so I'd take function over size any day!

Pleasant

Liked: It was very disappointing not to be able to take our dog to the breakfast area. Our dog is young and can’t be left alone. The guest house was advertised as dog friendly and unless specifically looking at guest house website it was not clear that dogs are not allowed at breakfast. We had a takeaway breakfast in our room (which was really small) and affected the quality of the food and experience. Didn’t find the host particularly understanding

Great B&B in Keswick

Liked: Great welcome from the owner, very helpful and super friendlyI could leave my luggage at the B&B before check-in and after checkout. They have the great option of a packed breakfast, which turned out to be my lunch daily. The location is really good, just 5ish minutes from the centre Bedroom was very comfy with all amenities Single room has a separate private bathroom a floor below. Greta bathroom tooAnd they have a drying room, which was very helpful on the first day as I came back drenched!
Disliked: The walls between bedrooms are quite thin and my neighbours apparently liked to argue quite a bit unfortunately! Also the radiator thermostat does make some noise regularly

I really great weekend retreat...

Liked: Our stay was excellent. Better than expected a real gem and a lucky last minute find. We will definetely stay again.I really like the extra little touches, Yorkshire Decaff tea and local made jams and sauces for breakfast. The owners are really friendly and helpful. Usually I prefer a room with a bath but the shower was so good. We really recommend it and had no complaints at all.
Disliked: Nothing.

Lovely warm and comfy guest...

Liked: The breakfast was excellent! I liked the fact that I could have locally made sauces, and that the food was locally produced. They could tell me where each element came from. The room was nicely decorated and the beds comfy.Greystoke House is handily situated near lots of other bed and breakfasts, and within a short walk of the centre of Keswick.
