Superb

Liked: Lovely house in great location close to town centre and Derwent Water.
Disliked: Parking, we were lucky and found parking close by.

Liked: Clean and very comfortable beds. 2 minute walk into town.
Disliked: Parking was tricky at times but got parked eventually.

Room way too small but...

Liked: Breakfast was beautiful and the location was perfect, room was clean with everything you needed
Disliked: Our room {4} was very small and the bathroom was difficult to move around in and the shower cubicle was a tad tight. Our friends had room 2 and it was much, much bigger! If I’d have known beforehand I would have changed but hindsight is a wonderful thing

Liked: Great hosts - Jon and Emma were very warm and welcoming. Jon gave us lots of great tips for exploring the area. Excellent breakfast kept us going on our hikes. We'll be back!

Great accomodation in a great...

Liked: Great place to stay, perfect location for town. Clean, comfy and stylish. Like the fact that little things were thought of that mean a lot to a guest, like oat milk not just regular milk, throws and extra blankets, conditioner as well as shampoo. Our room was very spacious, the room was big enough that it had the beds at one end which created a large space that was a lounge area with a sofa which we loved.Great that the property had a drying room too.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn’t like about this property.
