Fabulous overnight stop. Highly recommend.

Liked: It's recently been refurbished, and this showed - the bed was amazingly comfy, the rooms were clean and tidy but it's also obviously well maintained. Fabulous to stay in a thatched building! Really quiet overnight, even though there's a road in front and we had a window open. Breakfast was fabulous. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Disliked: Just a minor thing - seating in the bar was very low (sofas) or high bar stools. Not that comfy for a chat and drink with friends - there were a few tables, but it was laid for food.

Liked: Location and staff were excellent . Every single staff member was so friendly and helpful. We had to leave early and they did a fresh cooked breakfast packed up to go. Very accommodating. V good dinner in restaurant too when we arrived.
Disliked: Room was a little small but not an issue.

Lovely B&B with friendly staff.

Liked: The staff, although many still with ‘in training’ badges on, were excellent, friendly and very helpful. The evening menu was good and they were very accommodating with breakfast. The pub is really cosy and quaint.
Disliked: The bed was very small. My partner is 6:2ft and I’m fairly tall and it was a small double bed which was not our best nights sleep. One side of the mattress seemed to dip into the base of the bed too. The pillows were flat. However, it would not put me off staying again in the future because the location was good for us and the friendly team made us feel so welcome.

Very good

Liked: Our room was comfortable and clean. Good firm bed and powerful shower. The staff were friendly, in particular our waitress this morning for breakfast (28th April at 9am - 9.30am) was lovely. A real asset to the Greyhound country Inn.
Disliked: Initially, it was quite loud below our room, every time someone went in or out of the Inn, we heard it quite a bit. Our room was directly over the entrance door. However this quietened down considerably when we went to bed, so all okay then.

Disliked: Nothing other than fill pot holes in car park please.
