Exceptional

Liked: Easy check in by a lovely Lady. Had a drink in bar until room ready, reasonably priced and staff pleasant. Room fantastic, we were lucky to get a family room - huge, 2 tvs, everything you need iron and even a safe. Bathroom with bath and separate shower, just perfect.
Disliked: Nothing

It was a welcome short...

Liked: We had evening tea and breakfast the next morning, it was very good value for money, and the staff and location were excellent.

Liked: Location was excellent. Room was nice and warm and cosy. Didn't eat much breakfast was a bit hungover but it looked good
Disliked: Only stayed one night have been a few times now it's perfect for us nothing l didn't like

Liked: The bed was very comfy, the room was clean; there is a great selection of good at breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful e.g., provided extra blankes
Disliked: The walls are a bit thin, noise from the hall and adjacent rooms was noticeable.I wish there were mains outlets accessible from the bed e.g., to charge phones overnight nearby.There were no glasses for water (just mugs for the coffee/tea for which the room had facilities with kettle)

Excellent location, needs attention

Liked: Staff excellent, location excellent, food very good
Disliked: Leaking tap in bathroom. Bath panel was a diy disaster. Shower controls had no visible marks for hot or cold water, shower was either freezing or scolding. Bathroom worktop was damaged and stained. There was a hole in the bedroom wall which was tried to be fixed with a plastic bag and duck tape, it would probably take a joiner 15 minutes to repair. Not a good advert for any tourists.
