Only slept here for one night but room and facilities were great and very clean.
Liked: Location.

Stayed here 10 years ago and had a fabulous room and enjoyed it. This time round we had a very small dark room at the back of hotel with a view of a wall. Very noisy with the huge kitchen extractor fan below our room and had no sleep. The mattress dipped in the middle and the hotel looked very tired.
Disliked: Very disappointing.

Overrated. Very small room. Not value for money.
Liked: Very comfy bed.
Disliked: Very small room for a double. Nowhere to sit if you wanted breakfast in your room. Small reception desk - always seemed to have too many staff. No parking facilities - had to use a pay and display public car park nearby. Breakfast was an extra and expensive. We went for a short walk to the Eldon Square shopping centre and had a lovely breakfast for less than half the price. Generally OK but wouldn't stay there again.

Nice staff but bedroom needs...
Liked: There was a good variety to choose from. I could tailor the breakfast to my own preferences. It arrived promptly and was fairly hot.
Disliked: I arrived in the bar using my walking frame as I am disabled. I wasn’t sure where to sit and the young waitress decided to sit me in the corner of the bar rather than allow me to use the dining room. Her excuse was that I would find the chairs too heavy. I’m sure she didn’t mean to be rude but being disabled means being isolated on a daily basis and I did find being separated for whatever reason very offensive and upsetting. I think other diners might have too, as quite a few of them left their meals to come and talk to me. Just a little disability training might be useful in this case.

OK for a short visit
Liked: Nicely renovated hotel , stylish and good for a couple of nights.Nice decor, fairly central location.Comfortable bed with TV and openable window.
Disliked: Poor bathroom layout, toilet roll holder way too lose to the WCPoor Shower head location and pressure makes for a lousy shower in the morning.Small lift and even had to walk up some extra stairs to get to the room but this is an old building.

Great hotel in fantastic location...
Liked: Great location. Staff were welcoming and check in was efficient. Room was comfortable and had all the facilities you would need for your stay. Cocktail bar was lovely and good value.
Disliked: Sink in my room had a crack in it. There weren’t many tv channels and street noise was audible at night but to be expected in city centre location
