Friendly, helpful people; very clean and well kept rooms. I normally don't rave about a motel, but this one really stands out as being exceptional. A very well run operation.

Convenient stay near Rose Bowl

Liked: I stayed here for one night for an event at the Rose Bowl. The room and bed were comfortable and decently updated. Free parking was convenient and available. Water in the bathroom heated up well, and they provided plenty of towels. There's an Indian restaurant attached, which has great food, service, and atmosphere. Breakfast is provided in a nice space with hot options. I would stay here again. The location is convenient to shops and restaurants.
Disliked: More attention could have been paid to cleanliness - nothing egregious, just a few things that made it feel a little rough around the edges. For example, it was quite dusty right behind the bathroom mirror, which was very noticeable because it was a mirror that lit up around the edges. The stairwells had a lot of spraypaint on the carpeting and as we were leaving, there was someone actively spraypainting which caused a lot of fumes. While there were a lot of options for breakfast (eggs, sausage, potatoes, bagels, cereal, etc.), the hot options were not appetizing or tasty. I ended up eating an instant oatmeal instead. Everything seemed like it had been frozen and not cooked very well. The food was pretty lukewarm when I got there at 9AM.

Disliked: We and several others tried to check in 15 minutes early and were denied and then at the appropriate time the line was over 30 minutes long because they didn't anticipate the surge in checkins despite the event that we were there for

Fairly Good for Price

Liked: Loved that the beds were bigger than fulls which was perfect for big guys like us. A fridge and microwave was greatly appreciated. Food selection was pretty good, but due to egg prices only eggs were served for 1 of our 2 breakfasts.
Disliked: Shower fan didn't work well enough, and the toilet paper felt cheap.

Liked: Room was clean & nice, as expected from any good motels. The property is centrally located.
Disliked: Breakfast was disappointing. Even the juice dispensers were filled with water. No juice.
