Pleasant - 3.0 out of 5

Jerry, Sun City West

Good except for the above mentioned.

Liked: Room was clean; staff very nice; breakfast was good - plentiful. Area clean. Pool clean and warm.
Disliked: Was disturbed to be sleeping on a Murphy fold out for 3 nights and paying the same as those for a real bed. Pillows kept falling through the crack at the head and the metal frame was hard on the shins. One other thing was the plastic utensils for breakfast were so thin as to be unable to cut waffle.

I would stay here again. Hotel was quiet. Location is convenient. Everything worked well and was clean. Staff cannot do enough for you, which to me means a lot. Layout of room was dated; annoying fan in bathroom. A very reasonable place to stay - not the Ritz but you are not paying Ritz prices.

Liked: Staff amazingly friendly and heplful.
Disliked: Older property - room seemed clean and everything worked. A bit dated.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Very disappointed

Liked: Location
Disliked: After having a tour of the Grand Canyon all day, we came back to our hotel room wanted to clean up and then go get something to eat. We arrive back at the hotel about 5:35 PM. We could not get into our room Becca, the lady at the front desk proceeded to try. She called her manager and this maintenance man trying to get us into our room. My husband has cancer his medicine And the machines for him to take his blood pressure and everything was inside there so we had to get in there to take this before we went to dinner. Needless to say we had to break in our room after 2 1/2 hours. We finally got in. That did give us a different room. The swimming pool was not fixed could not go swimming the coffee machine in the lobby was broke. You had to be careful or you would literally burn yourself. You have to ask for a burrito or a bagel that was stuck in a microwave that was so chewy you could not Enjoy The first time we stayed there. It was nice which was a week before, but still have the same problem with the coffee machine and everything else. The pool was not working. It’s just our last night there before we we’re heading out. Was a very big disappointment. We never got to go to dinner we were very exhausted after waiting two hours to get into another room where we could take a shower

Good place, nice staff -...

Liked: We have stayed here before and liked it then so we returned. Decent value, clean room - I would definitely come here again.
Disliked: Our room was tucked down a dark hallway. You enter your room from outside and we happened to be down a covered walkway - just dark even though it was daylight. Weird but fine. The pool appeared to be closed but we had no time on this visit to use anyway.

Affordable and convenient place to...

Liked: This was a great location for us to explore both Sedona and Flagstaff. The breakfast was convenient, considering our packed schedule.
