Lovely quiet and relaxing in...

Exceptional

Liked: The staff, the facilities and the location were exceptional!!!! Nothing was too much trouble. And they made our dog Hector feel just as welcome. Everything was beyond our expectations.
Disliked: There is absolutely nothing to dislike.

Fabulous. Staff professional and friendly...

Liked: Stunning location. Very clean and beautifully presented
Disliked: Rooms were very warm. We did have exceptionally hot weather but it might be worth considering air conditioning in the rooms.

Country hotel great for short...

Liked: Quiet place in the middle of the country . Room ready on our arrival with refreshments and home made biscuits in cookie jar !!Good choice on breakfast menu from continental to cooked including haddock and poached egg ! 2 eateries in the evening with bar food or restaurant. Hotel furnishings giving country theme. All staff friendly and attentive.Large room for private party and easy access car park.
Disliked: Small swimming pool . Although served by 2 bus routes there is no bus stop near the hotel allow 10 -20 mins to walk to nearest bus route ( up / down hill) or flat on another route . Although known for good quality foods had frozen peas with fish and chips supper !!
