Green Valley Motor Lodge, Nashville

Superb

Liked: Luckily we had planned to explore Nashville so it was a very good location. I liked that the attendant was friendly and accommodative, had parking near room, room was clean. We were able to rest well.
Disliked: Came down here to experience the eclipse. Bloomington was booked out or even more expensive. So it was out of the was out of the way. Though the room was clean, it was extremely basic, especially for the price of $280. They could have added something special to the room for it costing so much.

We were the only humans...

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: Everything. No one there! Not ever in the office and no other guests. No cable, little Wi-Fi, no ice, no coffee pot. NOTHING! We kept waiting to be killed like in a bad scary movie. $380 for 2 nights and we feel very taken!!!

Dissatisfied

Liked: Room was clean. That’s only good part.
Disliked: Doors only locked from outside. Would not lock while you were in room. Stayed 2 nights & only had a chain that someone could just push open. Wi-Fi was very bad, little fridge was not cold, no staff when we got there. Only a note with a # to call. Had to call to get towel's, no pop machine, vending or anything to drink at all Worst part was never told doors would not lock or I would’ve never booked with this lodge. Very dissatisfied & scary doors wouldn’t lock . I would think I would get at least some type of refund for just the doors not locking .

Liked: The room looked clean until you looked under the bed. Filthy!
Disliked: First room - porch light didn’t work, key stuck in lock, toilet wouldn’t stop running, tv didn’t work. No one in the office. Called a posted number to report tv. Argued until they gave us a new room. Didn’t offer to help move 74yr old woman and her partially blind daughter after dark. 2nd room-toilet would flush, tv kept freezing up. Office wouldn’t answer my calls. Another number argued, telling me that no one else had any complaints and that every room was filled, even tho there were only 3 cars in the parking lot all night.

A wonderful step back in...

Liked: Mom and pop’s feeling. Clean. People were so kind. We locked ourselves out and he couldn’t be nicer about coming in the middle of the night to let us back in.
Disliked: Liked everything!

I do not recommend this...

Liked: It was close to town, within 1 mile.
Disliked: The shower had mold. Dead bugs in the bathroom. Pillows were flat. No one in office, had to call a number on the door to get key from under the mat and was told to leave key in room when we left. We didn't get an invoice. No staff interaction at all. We were very disappointed. TV got one channel that was not sports or news.

Liked: Location is the ONLY good thing about this place.
Disliked: There was no one @ front desk, call a #, the room keys are under the mats. The room we booked in only had one key, we needed 2 so we were moved.The room stinks so much like mold I'm concerned for our lungs. Parking is across the lot. Definitely doesn't meet expectations , very disappointed.
