Liked: I liked the hostel because of the location, which is amazing! The restrooms are private, like, is not a bunch of toilets/showers on the same place, so you have a little restroom to use with just you in there.
Disliked: I booked a bed in a female room with 8 beds and the room was VERY small. About the staff they were kinda nice and they don?t have a front desk from 8-10am. I needed a hairdryer and to put my bag on the locker and I waited for around 15 min to someone show up.

Good value for the money
Liked: Very clean, free breakfast and right next to Pike Place Market. I really didn't feel safe at all going out at night, though hanging in the hostel was OK, the wifi is fast, and they even have a room for smoking cigarettes or marijuana so you don't have to go down to onto the street. There is a kitchen too that you can prepare meals in, and refrigerators that are fairly clean and well organized.
Disliked: The neighborhood has kinda gone to hell, so be prepared for WWIII when you step outside. I had some dude walking right behind me on night muttering some nasty things under his breath and when I stopped to pull out my key card for the door, and he apparently thought I was just being paranoid and thought I was being stalked by him. "Kinda paranoid aren't you?" He said to me as I waited for him to pass before pulling out my wallet with the key card. The next morning the first thing I saw was a homeless man with his you-know-what in full view peeing not 20 feet from the front door of the hostel. The huge homeless problem in addition to many businesses that have been vandalized and boarded up in recent Black Lives Matter protests makes most of the third world countries I've visited look good. Though the negatives here aren't the fault of the hostel, they are definitely a part of the experience of being there at this time. Think before you book about where you really want to be.
