Green Hotel

Very good

Liked: Close to the station, great for attending Pukkelpop but sleep in a great bed.
Disliked: The airconditioning was broken and made annoying noises, even when off. The owner did confirm they are going to fix it. There was a water bottle that seemed dirty but somehow you needed to fill it yourselves. That was a bit unexpected and weird.

Cheap decent hotel, but could...

Liked: The breakfast room was very nice and big. The staff were friendly. The hotel was located very close to the bus station, so convenient.
Disliked: Room was very small already and the walls were painted dark, which made it even smaller. The only window of the room was opening to the staircase, so there was no natural light. Also, the light in the ceiling was not enough.

Dissapointing

Liked: The staff of the hotel are very friendly and the shower is very nice! Can’t remember staying in a hotel with a shower this nice.
Disliked: Unfortunately it was not clean. Or maybe not as clean as i hoped or expected. There was a stain in the bed sheets and hair from someone other than me. Besides, there were many stains on the walls. In addition, the hotel (or my room at least) is above a pub with loud music and lights, which means I did not get any sleep here. Especially in combination with the room being too hot without airconditioning, but too noisy with airconditioning. It even makes a rumbling sound every 5-10 minutes when it’s off.

Liked: Perfect location to visit Genk. Nice room and very good quality for a cheap price.

Liked: Great location, very helpful staff, nice room, fun cocktailbar with rooftop attached to it and good breakfast with delicious italian coffee.
Disliked: Small issue to mention something: Coffee machine did not work, staff was very helpful and swiftly brought another one which also stopped working. But that was ok for us

Pleasant

Liked: Easy check in. Convenient.
Disliked: Unclear where breakfast can be taken. Also a bit noisy on the street.
