Green Hotel

Disappointed!

Liked: The bed was comfortable and clean. It was a perfect location for what I needed.There was Nescafe coffee and Border biscuits. Yummy
Disliked: I'm sorry to say it was a disappointment. The whole property is VERY tired and in need of some serious TLC. The carpet in the hallway to the room was quite worn through in places, just short of being a trip hazard. The room itself was clean but the furniture and curtains are badly in need of replacing. The curtains were water damaged and ripped. The chairs were uncomfortable to sit on because the padding in the seats is such that the frame digs into the back of your legs. The plug points are in the wrong place for the kettle, I had to plug it in with the kettle on the floor .Finally unfortunately I had to have a cold shower as there was no hot water. ( I found that out once I was in the shower).

Weekend stay

Liked: Location to knockhill race circuit is great.Staff are friendly
Disliked: Mold on the walls outside our room... really smelled of damp on corridor and in the room.Beds are very hardHot water coming out of both taps in bathroom sinkRestaurant staff messing our order and bill up.Food wasn't that good and the desserts weren't nice.

Liked: Location and parking was ideal
Disliked: Hotel is in poor condition throughout, eg when walking to bedroom there were multiple holes in the lobby carpet causing a trip hazard, I was in a “Superior” room but Basic would be a better description Overall poor and will not return

Handy location but breakfast service...

Liked: Spacious ground floor room handy for access with dog
Disliked: Chaotic self-service breakfast on first morning with dog friendly seating some distance from breakfast buffet. Potato scones had been left out too long and were like leather. Much better on second morning, with food cooked to order, and we left dog in the room.

Liked: The staff at the reception and restaurant were really friendly. Pet friendly with a massive garden to walk them on. Ideal for a relaxing moment with family
Disliked: £20 charge for doggy
