Very expensive for second rate...

Disliked: Room was very tired.

Rather expensive for condition of...

Liked: Lovely period property and situated in a tranquil little village. Downstairs and entrance lobby had been refurbished and was welcoming. Staff were friendly. Breakfast buffet was super. With a bit of tlc this hotel could be amazing.
Disliked: The rooms were dated. The corridors and carpets were tatty and threadbare. No ceiling lights in room and only one bedside lamp working. Vinyl in bathroom was like waves in the ocean

Liked: Handy location for my needs
Disliked: Toilet flush broken, extractor fan not working, tv control not working properly. When reported, staff seemed to be aware and speedily moved us to adjacent empty room. General feeling of decay.

Liked: Great hotel. Clean and spacious bedrooms.

Disliked: Extremely poor very neglected condition. Unfit for accommodations and should not be allowed to operate as a hotel

Liked: Great location, amazing staff. So kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
Disliked: Food stopped serving at 8.15. Bed was hard, but this could be personal preference.

Only there overnight but would...

Liked: Very early breakfast but it great. Fried eggs perfect and plenty of choice. Member of staff there to help if necessary. Admittedly I was the first customer so every thing was piping hot.
Disliked: The long walk to my room. Room. 12
