Disliked: When we arrived at our room there was a big hole on the ceiling outside our door. Later that night, it started raining, and water started coming through the crater on the ceiling. I went to reception numerous times, but no one was there. The carpet was getting soaked. I found a bucket further down the hall and left it to gather the water. The hotel knew about this hole but still chose to put a family in this bedroom. In my honest opinion, I believe this corridor should have been shut and condemned due to health and safety. In the morning, I went to reception to make a formal complaint and an explanation. The lady said I had to complain through the booking app, I asked her to make sure that it was on hotel records that made a formal complaint. The floor leading up to the room felt rotten and un safe also. I have video evidence of this that I can pass on.

Liked: Very good value for money, bar resto decent enough.
Disliked: Main resto was closed which looked better menu but the pub was definitely nice enough, helpful staff

Very convenient hotel promoting live...

Liked: We were there to see a live band at Backstage at the Green and it was extremely handy. Staff are always nice. The room was huge and lovely and quiet. We had a good night’s sleep.
Disliked: Nothing.

Disliked: Layout of place is confusing when looking for a room. Stairs. Dated decor - peeling wallpaper; loose, lumpy carpet
