Liked: Front desk lady was very nice checking in and out. Parking was close, rooms were nice.
Disliked: All the people doing drugs outside they hotel, away from the building, they were in groups outside late. Smell was bad as the manure. There were kids running up and down stairs start 11:00.

Scary, frustrating, disappointing experience

Disliked: My 17 year old daughter and I stayed in room 209 Friday night the 16th since she had a musical theater audition at UNC early Saturday morning. We drove from castle rock in snowy weather, and we arrived about 9:30pm to stay for less than 10 hours. At 10:30 we heard screaming coming from a room near us, and after listening to that for about 15min, I called the front desk. Lady apologized and told me it was a man with special needs, and she would call his case worker. About 11:30, we were still hearing the screaming, so I called to get an update. She said cops were coming to escort him out by midnight. Soon after, we heard moaning and loud sex noises coming from room next to us. I called front desk and she told me to turn up the TV, but we really wanted to go to bed. I tried to turn on the fan to drown it out and get some cool air going in our room, but only heat came out of vents instead of cool air. I tried to play light sleep music, but that didn’t help either. They finally stopped and we fell asleep around 1am, but I woke up an hour later hearing people arguing and yelling in another room. I kept hearing doors open and close and cars until about 3:30am. My daughter was scared, so she asked if she could sleep in bed with me. It was finally quiet around 3:30am to sleep, but our alarm went off for her to get ready for her audition at 6:30. I let ladies in the office know everything that happened, and they apologized, but no offer to comp our room.
