I would not recommend using...

Liked: The staff were very helpful. We had to move rooms after the first night due to a constant mechanical noise all night (room 203, located at the front of the building). Staff were really helpful and moved us to another room. Much bigger and slightly less dated located at the rear of the building. Bed was comfortable though.
Disliked: The state of the inside of the building was very poor and dated; looks like this has not been refurbished since the '70's! Cracks in ceilings, and wiring visible; very poor. Also, the parking is very tight and limited. Location is noisy (from the front rooms) as directly on the main road. This end of Newquay we were told is the worst for drugs and drunks (we could smell weed all along the street outside the hotel). It was 30 degrees heat when we arrived but the bedroom windows were left open and the curtains not drawn, so the temperature in the room was horrendous. Thankfully the staff found a fan for us to use. No air-conditioning in the building.

Disliked: The hotel really needs a good clean and decorating. Windows carpets furnishing all need cleaning many stains etc throughout hotel.

Great 3 night stay at...

Liked: Great location for the beach, perfect place to watch sunsets from the restaurant/beer garden. Room was great and spacious, with stunning views over the sea
Disliked: Nothing really - rooms perhaps just needs a bit of a spruce up
