Disliked: The breakfast was good but not much choice

Liked: Beautiful chandeliers and grand staircase, well maintained
Disliked: Disappointed we were given a room opposite a building site which was situated down a dark corridor. I booked an Executive Double to have more space but it was quite confined. There were much nicer, bigger rooms elsewhere which I discovered the next morning.

Very empty hotel but served...

Liked: Nice corner room with bath and with excellent woollen blankets.Excellent central location and handy for stations.
Disliked: The lift did not work any of the time. Staff would take you up but you had to walk down from second floor and not wanting to trouble them too much was very inconvenient.No chair in tbe bedroom.

Good location but unpleasant room

Liked: The location was good.
Disliked: We asked for our rooms to be close together but they weren't.However, the worst thing about our stay was that we had asked for non smoking rooms. Our room stank of cigarette smoke, even the beds and bedding. There were cigarette burns on the bathroom floor, which also stank of cigarette smoke. I know it is hard to police the rooms, after the keycard is handed over, but the cleaning staff must have smelt the cigarette smoke and the bedding. The pillows, duvet and mattresses need changing, as well as the linen!

Disliked: The staff at reception. Rather rude and dismissive when i asked her for a spot in the lobby where i could do some work.
