Liked: We stayed on the first floor near the pool, from June 29-July 6. Our room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, we did not get to swim in the pool, though it was clean and inviting. The location was perfect for our stay in Cherokee. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were very pleased with our choice to stay at the Great Smokies Inn in Cherokee NC and we plan to stay again in the summer of 2026.
Disliked: We have no complaints. :)

Liked: The location is great .
Disliked: We were there for four nights, had to call for clean towels,and toilet paper. It took two hours and a second call before we got some. Never seen any cleaning staff the whole time we were there. Was disappointed this trip as this was our third time staying there, and the other times were great. The beds were not comfortable like the other rooms we had.

Liked: Loved the area and liked, "was OK with" the basic, but nicely remodeled beautiful hotel.
Disliked: Didn't like having to walk outside and around, pass ppl smoking, to go to front desk a minute to find out why door card didnt work, was only bc 2nd night was added after booking. Had do not disturb on the door for 2 nights, wind blew it off on the ground, the door card not working was a disturbance.
