Bit 'quirky' but excellent value...

Liked: The hotel was certainly dog friendly which was our reason for booking.
Disliked: The meal menu was a bit restricted. Whilst dog friendly we had to sit at what appeared to be temporary type tables next to the bar area.

Liked: I had to leave before breakfast opened with it being the weekend, so they very kindly made me up a take away breakfast which was brilliant.

Disliked: Needs refurb, outside very messy, plants dead, broken fixtures such as tables/chairs

A friendly hotel and great...

Liked: This hotel was great value and just off the A303 so really convenient for a stop over. We asked for a quiet room as we sleep with our windows open- and got exactly that- we couldn't hear the main road. All the staff were exceptionally welcoming, attentive and helpful. The breakfast was excellent- all local produce and cooked to order.
Disliked: The garden furniture we sat on at the bottom of the garden area had definitely seen better days- a new set would make quite a difference to the garden area. We aren't complaining- it just seems a shame.
