Liked: Trees all around, near town, great restaurant, super kind staff, nice soft sheets and towels, hot tub and very architectural buildings.
Disliked: All was good.

Exceptional

Cycle to Donner Lake.

Liked: Attractive wooden chalet style. Excellent large room and comfortable bed. Good hot tub. Really enjoyed using the bicycles.
Disliked: On a busy road.

Not a pet friendly hotel

Liked: Beautiful building, clean, beautiful room, nice shower.
Disliked: The hot tube was smaller than a bathtub. The hotel is described as “pet friendly” but it’s more “pet tolerated”. there are so many restrictive rules about what dogs are allowed to do that it’s better to not come with them. The dog park is even ridiculous. Dogs are not allowed to pee on the grass… nothing to add ! The waitstaff was ridiculous - he either was high or hadn’t slept in a month - we asked for sugar, he brought cream, we asked for coffee and he brought the check…
