Good

Overall, this was an enchanting...

Liked: The location is terrific! The food was appealing. The service was great (housekeeping, desk, and restaurant). I loved the rocking chairs on the terrace and balconies. The parking was easy.
Disliked: My room had a slightly musty smell, and the flowers in the the window boxes at Hilltop needed some water, but those were the only things I noticed. My door lock was difficult, but housekeeping was very kind to work on it for me, and eventually I learned to unlock it.

Beautiful lodge in an excellent...

Liked: Graves Mountain Farm is a wonderful place, well located to access Shenandoah, but it also feels like you've really gotten away from it all. The room was beautiful, immaculate, and comfortable. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. We really appreciated the local options on the menu. We also loved that there was a pool, though we didn't get to use it!

Good family time spent with...

Liked: The locks on the hotel doors would not work properly and resulted in trying to get into the room for several minutes.
Disliked: I feel like the quality or the room was lacking for the price of the stay but the view was more than amazing.

Can't wait to come back...

Disliked: the king bed was really just two small ones pushed together =p

It was so bad we...

Liked: Nothing-we ended up leaving after eating the buffet and seeing the room.
Disliked: Location - roads unpaved, unsafe bridge to enter fee facility, unkept property, rooms moldy and smelled awful - unable to stay, food was overpriced and did not taste good, chef and wait staff rude. Office that took payment had no customer service skills and were rude.

Dirty Dancing Vibes!

Liked: I was living my Dirty Dancing dream! Just the drive to the lodge was an experience going through the foothills of the mountain. Staff was very kind at check in. Rooms are dated but it’s definitely part of the vibe. There are white rocking chairs outside every room and my kids and I sat and watched a beautiful thunderstorm!
Disliked: I truly loved everything!
