Prime location

Liked: The front office staff was very kind and helpful. I really liked the openness of the lobby.
Disliked: The room is very small and short. I am 5' 7' and I couldn't put my arms up. So if you are six feet then it would be an issue. Also, there is no a/c (when I asked, I was referred to the Dyson fan). The rooms are a bit stuffy and the hallways are too, and smell a bit like the kitchen downstairs. There was always a vacuum in the hallway. It was very expensive which I realize is for the location. But they are clean.

Great people, central location- I...

Liked: All of the staff were helpful and friendly. We had a very hospitable welcome. I felt safe and comfortable. The location is perfect! I could come and go all day in between museum visits and exploring the city. We chose the optional breakfast with Biddy Mulligan’s and it was excellent!
Disliked: The room got warm- it is summer after all. And only one window opened a few inches. We requested a fan- and they provided! I suggest requesting a second fan if staying in the larger, four-person room.The buzz of 2 low-noise fans would also help create enough background noise for sleeping- as the street sounds do carry up to the rooms on the street side. We are all light sleepers- but we were able to get quality sleep by planning ahead. The hotel was a good value for us- glad we stayed!!

Liked: The room was comfortable and provided adequate privacy.
Disliked: The room location arrangements was a bit confusing due to its labyrinth-like layout getting to and from the reception area.

Loved the locations but the...

Liked: Location
Disliked: Lift out of order. Our room was in aConnected building that required stairs to get to our 3rd floor room. A “cozy” double means a niche bed where one person must climb over the other to use the bathroom at night. No room to unpack anything it a few toiletries
