Liked: We got the deluxe room which was lovely and roomy comfy bed great shower and very pet friendly also lovely food.
Disliked: Nothing was great

Exceeded all expectations

Liked: The food was exceptional in quality and presentation at both evening meal and breakfast. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is an absolute hidden gem with a unique identity.

Great place & people

Liked: Great room and shower. Good bed and resultant sleep. Best breakfast I’ve had for a long time. Great steak pie for evening meal.

Nice country pub convenient for...

Liked: Nice location in small town but convenient for A1 and A19. Nice comfortable room with Yorkshire themed decor to give a more individual feel than a chain.We had dinner and breakfast and both were excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely place to stay for...

Liked: Everything needed is catered for.Clean and good quality accomodation.Staff always accomodating.Food excellent.Very dog friendly.Lovely village across the road, with shops/bakeries for a wander around.
Disliked: Nothing!

Most importantly would I return,...

Liked: Friendly staff in a good location...hotel was very busy in the bar restaurant and the staff coped admirably...Please note I find people over rate hostelries which would dictate that the UK is awash with Michelin star eateries and Savoy Hotels...would I return to the Grantham, absolutely.
Disliked: Car Parking...
