GOOD LOCATION

Liked: Small hotel in heart of chinatown. The best part about this hotel is its location, walking distant to Union square, Italian area, Cable car, view of the Coit building, etc. We also lucked out in corner room, which was pretty big and good view ( We paid over $100 a night for this room). You can leave luggage after check out, they are organized about this. They give you proper tickets!
Disliked: OKAY, the worst part when we walked in was the SMELL, it smelled of something sour and foul. We couldn’t get the stench out for awhile (lots of perfuming) Bathtub was clogged. Although, nice pressure shower. Note, there is no breakfast. Water is $1 a bottle. They take $20 deposit cash (returned upon check out, check out is 12pm) No kettle or fridge in the room. No iron, but supply extra blanket, it got cold during the night. There is no control for AC or Heat. There is coffee, self serve, 6:30-9:30 am. Staff was OK, nothing special. No one went out their way to work hard. They seemed busy doing paperwork. You have to tell them a day ahead for room cleaning.

Liked: Our room was very small but we were moved to a larger room. credit to staff.
Disliked: Having to pay a deposit in case any items were broken. Still awaiting to receive the refund (4.6.24)

Liked: Beds were comfortable, sheets were clean, good value. Staff was friendly.
Disliked: The water pressure in the shower was... 3/10. Temperature was also hard to adjust.

Liked: Friendly staff and my room was clean and included everything I needed. I enjoyed my stay overall.
Disliked: These were minor issues for me but the rooms are poorly insulated for noise: bring ear plugs. The TV had bad reception and only a few channels available.
