Charming style of hotel

Liked: Loved the rooms with the high ceilings, it felt like I was in a castle.The Scottish Breakfast was fab!Also the lift was very cool and old fashioned, never seen one like it.Overall the hotel had a lot of character and the stay was great

Great food and pleasant atmosphere

Liked: Having stayed here before the food is always excellent, with lots of gluten free options - perfect for me as a coeliac sufferer. The staff are always very helpful, polite and attentive.
Disliked: The room was a little chilly when we arrived but adjusting the temperature improved things. The building has wooden sash windows, which can be draughty. The shower head over the bath in our room was very high up and could not be adjusted.

Liked: Fantastic wildlife and bird orientated hotel. Comfortable accommodation. The bed was great. Staff were superb. Food options were changed every night and were really good. Great location
Disliked: The shower in our room needed some tlc and the bathroom door was a killer!
