Disappointing

Liked: The staff were friendly. Free parking on the premises.
Disliked: It felt incredibly run-down inside. The place needs a LOT of maintenance. Doesn;t match the pictures of it I saw online.

Wouldn't recommend

Liked: Nothing except close to my friend's house that we were visiting
Disliked: Cleanliness, no shop, shower door broken, difficult access to the room, smoky smell.

Liked: Nice hotel large bedroom with four poster bed
Disliked: Looks like it's going through some renovations internally some parts were about scruffy

A good place to stay...

Liked: Friendly, helpful staff upon arrival. The place was clean and smelt pleasant. Car parking was good (CCTV visible) Good location close to the town.
Disliked: Bathroom light didn’t work, shower was tepid at best, room was a bit scruffy and needed decorating. I suspect it’s used mainly by builders during the week.

Exceptional Treatment

Liked: Got a bigger and better room at the back of the Hotel this time. Usually I got a small room in the front that was adequate, but that's it. I got this bigger and better room despite not paying for an upgrade. And their WiFi worked this time for me
Disliked: Nothing I can think of, apart from lack of Shampoo or Shower Gel in the bathroom in the room
