Beautiful hotel, fab hotel and...

Liked: The Hotel was ideally placed - we have stayed before so we knew it was a great location. We were upgraded to one of the new boutique rooms which was fabulous - room was so nice - I was very impressed
Disliked: Although we had been upgraded - there were serious issues with our shower - barely got any water out - you certainly couldn't wash your hair and get the soap off :-( I did report it to the Duty Manager on the first night and reception the following morning both apologized and said unfortunately they couldn't move us to another boutique room but did offer to move us to somewhere else in the hotel.

Liked: It was our 20th Wedding anniversary and the room we had was fabulous.

A pleasant short stay

Liked: Nice location and room recently refurbished. Friendly staff on check-in and beautiful location.
Disliked: I'm going to start a campaign against tiny sinks in hotel bathrooms. I appreciate that a smaller than standard sink makes sense in a small bathroom (for a single hotel room) but washing your face in something the size of a cereal bowl is hard work.

Liked: Lovely, friendly staff, great location, lovely grounds, lovely bathroom.
Disliked: Television too small in room, no fridge in room, no mini bar, bit tired and dated, restaurant menu needs refreshed, went out for food, but on checkout, was told I had a bill to pay for the internal restaurant? Not a true 4 star hotel, based on these things, every 4 star or 5 has had a fridge or mini bar plus a decent sized TV.
