Good

Liked: Lovely room, very helpful staff and delicious restaurant.
Disliked: There were renovations underway, so you had the smell of paint everywhere, drilling, lift was muddy because the workers were using the same one as guests. Pity they couldn't have scheduled them in a less busy period.

Liked: Lovely large room very clean, excellent shower and products supplied
Disliked: Wine was very expensive 15.50 a glass for merlot

What a difference a year...

Liked: The old Grange hotel has gone forever! The new owners have worked hard to breathe new life into the hotel creating an oasis of calm in a beautiful setting.The food offer was of a very high quality and reasonably priced. The staff were outstanding in their professionalism and commitment to enhancing the guest experience.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing!

Disapointing, if we had been...

Liked: The location was very good for us and the room was large and clean. There were tea & coffee making facilities and a complimentary bottle of water and the TV had plenty of available channels.
Disliked: There was building work going on both in the hotel itself and on an adjoining lot. The noise was disturbing in the morning. Also the contractors all seemed to use the hotel car park meaning there was quite limited space for guests.Although the room was a good size there was no full length mirror nor an iron. When we went to reception to ask about an iron (around 8pm) it was unmanned even though we rang the bell.It felt like the internal building works had compromised some of the facilities, in particular the bar, although as we have not visited before i could be mistaken.
