A charming and cycle-friendly B&B...

Liked: Grange Farm is everything you want and more in the quintessentially English B&B experience. I visited for the weekend to cycle in Thetford Forest and Kings Forest and, at the last minute, my daughter decided to join. Philip and Tibouche couldn’t have been more welcoming and accommodating. They made up an extra bed, had a secure place for me to keep my bike and recommended a wonderful local pub for dinner. The very generous breakfast includes freshly laid eggs from the chickens kept on the premises, local sausage & bacon and a proper press pot of coffee! The common areas are comfortable and the facilities suited us really well. When we’re back in the area we’ll definitely return.

Disliked: Nothing, just a bit tricky to message via booking.com - use their number to call.

Exceptional

Liked: Fabulous welcome and hospitality from our lovely hosts Tibouche and Philip. The kind of feel you just don't get from hotels. House was beautiful with comfy room and great breakfast. We will return if staying in the area again.
Disliked: The only thing we would change is to have an on suite. However, we were provided the main bathroom for ourselves only which was amazing. Thank you.

Very pleasant stay

Liked: Beautifully presented. A large family room with en-suite was very suitable for the 4 of us.
Disliked: No standing shower (shower at bath but not to wall due to ceiling height / shape).

No en-suites / unlockable bedroom...

Liked: Location goodBreakfast nice, but wasn't given choice if how egg was cookedComfy bedRoom was warm (cold outside)
Disliked: *None existant en-suite. Note that private bathroom does not mean en-suite. Our 'private' bathroom was downstairs. Also, the hosts personal items were left in the bathroom. Things such as toileteries, dental floss, razors. I also found dirty laundry in a chest when I was looking for spare toilet roll.* no locks on door. You cannot lock your bedroom door. Anyone can walk in at any time*No socket near dressing table. I had a get down on my knees to use hairdryer as there was no socket near dressing table. *Poor lighting. Lighting very dull. Not good for applying make-up*Tiny t.v. large room and tiny t.v not good. It was also positioned on low furniture, so almost impossible to watch t.v lying in bed*mis-match furniture. Our bedside tables were IKEA finest budget coffee tables*WiFi only 65mbps so you cannot watch films etc.
