Employees were great. Facility needs...

Liked: All of the employees were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The facility needs an update. Hot tub didn’t work, and didn’t look like it had for awhile. Leaky faucets and thermostat didn’t work in room.

Liked: It was in Ames
Disliked: The bathroom floor was rotted under the tile.. so the tile under that area was broken and loose. The hot and cold on all of the faucets were opposite. The arms on the chairs were worn and the freezer smelled of mold. The parking lot was well worn the base of the columns and concrete were falling apart and had rotten wood screwed together to hold a square shape. The beds were hard.

Liked: The front staff man working was very nice.
Disliked: The doors to the outside of the building that you are supposed to have to have a key to get in… standing wide open all night. Random people coming in and out of the hotel. Some kids off the street some random guys… so I went to front desk and he said “ yes, we have been trying to get management to fix it” i said it was very unsafe and I explained that I didn’t feel comfortable with the situation, and he said there was nothing he could do and he would “ let management know again” We also had no towels in the room. No handle towels. No wash cloths. No toilet paper.. went to front desk and he said “I can only give you an extra 3 towels”. I said ok, but these are not extra towels. I had no towels in my room. He said, “ok. Well I am the only working in the hotel can you come down to the front desk and grab them?” I went to get towels and he did give us 3 towels and a couple hand towels and a couple wash cloths. Our room keys didn’t work. We had to go down to have them reset 2 times.
