Superb

Great hotel, lovely staff and...

Liked: Very central location, just a few steps at the side of the hotel and you are in the main shopping area full of restaurants, bars and shops. Our room was upgraded on arrival to a suite and it was huge and very comfortable. Bathroom complete with bath and shower was just great.
Disliked: If you are on a city break then look no further there is nothing not to like.

Great city, great hotel

Liked: Spacious and easy walking to everything. Clean and comfortable.
Disliked: Would have preferred stand up shower rather than nozzle in bath, but otherwise great.

Liked: It's a really nice hotel with very friendly staff. The reception was outstanding and helpful.The hotel was clean, even though there was an huge dog show organised in the city and the hotel was full of dogs- the cleaning team of the shared areas was working hard to keep the standards.The room was big and very nice with a comfortable bed, a decent bathroom, fridge and a coffee maker.Upon arrival, we have received two bowls and and a toy for our dog which we thought was super nice. Our Buddy loved the toy, so we took it home :-)There is also a nice park nearby, so we took the chance of daily walks.
Disliked: Our stay was generally very pleasant, but if I can list what could be improved, here it is:- we didn't know (or I have missed it) that the room had only roof windows. We liked it at the end, especially that you could control them remotely. However, the first impression was "oh no!"- the parking lot- a bit too far from the hotel, especially that there are parking spaces on the street closer to the hotel. These are also payable, but not over the weekend, so we choose this option (closer and cheaper);- the room cleaning was a bit weird :) We got our sheets and towels sorted out daily (even though we left them hung) but the toilted paper was not supplied and the used coffee cups were not cleaned.

Liked: Breakfast was really good. Everything was available what a breakfast should include. Room service is till 11PM. It can be extended till midnight-1 AM ish, but great price-value ratio.

Excellent Stay, Happy to come...

Liked: I visited Grand Hotel Brno two years ago and was positive surprised that the rooms have been renovated recently. Also I want to highlight the extensive breakfast which sums up to a great value for money stay!Additionally I would like to mention the friendenly staff at the reception with perfect english language.
Disliked: Windows havn't been renovated, so you can hear the noise from the street.Wish I could have stayed longer :-)
