Liked: Friendly, helpful staff. Clean facilities. Great rooms, and restaurant/bar.
Disliked: I didn’t dislike anything. But I still haven’t received room deposits back for both rooms.

Good Hotel near the airport,...

Liked: They accommodated my request to have a room on the top floor. They have an onsite restaurant and bar, with nightly music, and a swimming pool / hot tub that both my wife and I took advantage of. For the reasonable price, we will definitely be back. There are several other hotels within walking distance of this one, being right next to the local airport. The room was quiet. It probably could benefit from a few updates here and there, but we were very happy for the price. The bed was good, not excellent, but good. We live a couple hours away from Grand Junction but often need to go there for one reason or another and it often makes sense for us to stay overnight. I think we found our new local hotel. As long as they keep the rates at the same level, we will be coming back several times a year.
Disliked: I did not like being charged to park in their parking lot. Depending on your expectations, this might not be a big issue, but it sends a bad message to the customer. I almost parked my car in the hotel lot next door just to bypass the unreasonable parking fee. I have stayed at several of the hotels in the immediate area, and this is the first time I had to pay extra just because I drove there. It is a bad policy. They have enough parking spots to accommodate all guests and being surrounded by other hotels, there are literally thousands of parking options in this part of the city. Free ones.Secondly, they must be extremely proud of their breakfast. Nothing special about it, but they, unlike most hotels in the area, charge for that as well. Because I had to check out at 5am for an appointment, I was not able to try it. Again, it feels like they are tacking on a bunch of fees here to make up for the reasonable room rate. I understand the business decision, but from a marketing perspective, it sends the wrong message to the customer and undoubtedly turns off quite a few people.
