Liked: Very clean. Nice staff. The pool is hot and clean. We loved everything.
Disliked: It was perfect.

Disliked: The value for the dollar was not great. The “breakfast” was very nondescript. Disappointing.

Classy place to stay in...

Liked: Loved the location with the view of the beautiful lake! Beds were very comfortable. Room was spotless. Staff were very friendly and helpful; accommodating all of our numerous requests! We had many requests because expected amenities were lacking. Staff went above and beyond within their limits. We loved having the red housecoats but would definitely prefer them in cotton.
Disliked: The apartment was costly and claimed to have a kitchenette. No kettle, no toaster, no hot plate, no cutting board nor bread knife, a teeny tiny fridge …really nothing more than you’d find in a budget motel room. Lack of a proper apartment kitchenette was our chief complaint. Other things we’d change:Windows that opened for fresh air would be nice.Bathroom fan is always good.Bathtub plug in centre of tub was awful design making it very painful to lay down in tub. The taps and spout on the tub were terrible with a dangerous design and the hot water was scalding. A disaster waiting to happen in that awful tub!Dimmer switch over dining table would be nice.Otherwise the entire ‘apartment’ was dark and black. No dresser, closet or hooks in the bedroom. Of course we’d love it if breakfast and parking were included in the price as it was rather costly as stated above!

Well-situated Holiday Inn with Hyatt...

Liked: Nice location, walking distance to most amenities.
Disliked: The pool is small and inconveniently located (you have to walk through the lobby, no robes provided). The lounge area is staffed by the same single person staffing the front desk, my family had to wait quite a while (multiple other guests came, waited, and left) until there were no guests at the front desk to be served (the area is also very strongly perfumed, limiting our lounging. They charge for parking anywhere on premise (not just the garage), I understand it’s necessary in larger urban areas, but there’s ample parking space in Sherbrooke, this feels egregious. We were charged an additional $85 over our booking fee when we arrived, I know $28 was for parking, but the rest wasn’t explained at check-in and overall increased our room price significantly. I would not have booked it had I known.

Disappointed and not worth the...

Liked: The location is great
Disliked: For the price it fell short. The room was clean but the mattress was lumpy, the pool was nice and warm but no change rooms and there was no robes in the room to be able to walk back to the room after the pool. The lining of the pool was all wrinkled and will break soon. There’s no restaurant and only a bar. I went downstairs on a Saturday night at 10:30 and it was closed. There was no conditioner in the room so I wasn’t able to wash my hair.details when building just fell short and seemed to have cut corners. I was so excited to stay there and it fell short. Also my cards stopped working and I had to go to the front desk multiple times.
